This web site has been designed
to show you our miniature horses and with a view into farm life on the Falklands.
Main Point is located on the North coast of West Falkland. We have a lot
of coast line on our farm and think it is a rather beautiful place to live
but we could be biased! Main Point Farm is over 17,000 acres. We run just
over 5000 sheep, which are bred for wool. Mainly of Polwarth breeding. Our
main income is from the wool but we have a few other sidelines. We sell some
sheep annually and also some cattle. We run around 70 cattle, which we use
for milking by hand for our own use and for beef. We also breed and sell
Miniature Horses, which we first imported, to the Falklands from England
in 1997. We are agents for Dodson & Horrell Ltd and import and sell their
animal feed. See our links page.
