Was first opened to the public in 2003.
It was one of several kit houses built in 1849 and was given to the museum by the late "Nutt" Cartmell. Museum staff and volunteers restored the house to it's original condition. The rooms show how traditional families lived long before modern comforts. The cottage is open for public viewing, so contact the museum and take a step back in time!
